From the day I bought my latest Notebook I wanted to test how much time it can stay On on battery.
So I created a ruby script for linux (tested on ubuntu).
How It Works:
In every stage(every stage is 10% Of battery loss) script saves time elapsed.
At the end of the test it shows time elapsed, average time elapsed and possible time that computer can stay on. You can run the test for the first 10% of battery loss and have a prediction of how much your computer can stay on.
